Orange Box continues to expand into new kit lines. The latest line is a 1/48
scale aircraft, the first ever Orange Box aircraft in this scale. The particular
aircraft in question is a Junkers Ju88, which was a twin-engine, multirole aircraft
flown by the Luftwaffe in WWII. Such was its versatility that the 15,000 aircraft
built were sometimes referred to as “the Maid of all Work.” The kit specifically
represents one of these versatile variants - a Ju88G-6 Nachtjager.
This Orange Box kit is not just a 1/48 fighter, for it also boasts an appropriately
scaled Luftwaffe pilots. With the highly detailed aircraft and realistically
posed figures, model-makers can create an impressive vignette straight from
the box. The kit includes brand new Cartograf decals to add that final flourish
to the aircraft. As with all other Orange Box items that have gone before, this
