Dragon’s new Firearm Series is proving popular with model-gun collectors, and a new item has just been added to the range. Again it is a 1/3 scale miniature of a G17, but this time it features an important accessory – a tactical flashlight. The collector’s piece builds upon the amazing realism of Dragon’s earlier G17. The original semi-automatic weapon fires NATO-standard 9x19mm Parabellum cartridges. The G17 was a pioneering pistol design, and it has proved a huge success with more than 50 military and police forces around the world. It weighs 625g, which is a lot heavier than Dragon’s conveniently sized model that is ideal for display, and which loses nothing in accuracy and lifelikeness.

As with the earlier G17 release, there are two complete pistol miniatures contained in the full-scale gun case. These highly engineered replicas are easily assembled to mimic the real gun with a slide action, detachable magazine, moveable trigger and individual cartridges. Moreover, it includes an under-barrel tactical light and a gun case. For those seeking a lethal pistol suitable for military or law enforcement tactical use, this is not the answer.
