In terms of utility transport, the mainstay of the U.S. Armed Forces is undoubtedly
the rugged HMMWV. This successful vehicle has been built in numerous variants,
and it is estimated there could be around 12,000 of them currently operating
in Iraq. One of the most common variants is the M1114, with the advantage of
its additional armor protection.
This model features a sand-colored vehicle with the markings of 220th Military
Police Company, just as it appeared in Baghdad in 2003.
