Dragon Armor has issued another superb 1/72 scale model of Sd.Kfz. 251/10 halftrack.
This particular Ausf.C variant coming from the first major production series,
though it was more complex to build compared to the subsequent Ausf.D. The 251/10
was issued to platoon commanders, and featured a 3.7cm PaK 36 cannon useful
for giving a light antitank capability.
This impressive new model of Sd.Kfz.251/10 has a fully detailed PaK 36 carefully
fitted with its low-profile shield onto the halftrack. The open-topped model
has a full interior, while externally it is coated in an attractive three-color
camouflage scheme. It is also adorned with an all-white balkenkreuze and large
red tactical numbers on the hull sides. Dry-brushing has been applied to the
many edges of the multi-faceted armor plates of the model, and this accentuates
the distinctive form of this streamlined halftrack. Weathering has also been
carefully applied to such components as the wheels, and individual items such
as the headlights have been effectively highlighted. This finely detailed model
with a 3.7cm PaK will add extra firepower to any model collection!
